Pilates Small Equipment and Adaptations

This is a 1-day course that is designed for certified Mat Pilates instructors looking to enhance their teaching by integrating small equipment into their classes and includes the use of Toe Corrector, Magic Circle, and Hand Weights to add support, challenge, and variety to mat exercises.

Participants will also learn how to safely adapt exercises to meet diverse client needs, ensuring inclusive and effective sessions.

  • Hand Weights: Strategies to build strength, improve coordination, and enhance movement precision.
  • Safe Adaptations: Learn how to modify classical mat exercises for different client needs, including beginners, advanced practitioners, or those with injuries.
  • Practical Application: Hands-on practice integrating apparatus into mat exercises, with real-time feedback from Sarah Janes.
  • Group Teaching Practice: Participants teach mini-sequences using apparatus, receiving peer and instructor feedback to refine their skills.
