Our next available Teacher Training course starts in September 2024 and will take place at our flagship studio in Sutton Coldfield.

Beginner; 27th, 28th and 29th Sept 2024
Intermediate; 26th and 27th Oct 2024, 25th and 26th Jan 2025, 22nd and 23rd March 2025
Advanced; 10th and 11th May 2025, 12th and 13th July 2025 and 24th and 25th Sept 2025

18-month course breakdown;

A total of 120 delivery hours on the course itself
Attendance to 20 apprentice meetings, 1.5hrs each meeting
400-600hrs of apprenticeship hours prior to final exam
Case studies
Exams at 200 hrs, 450hrs, 600hrs and final exam

‘Pilates From Head to Toe’ Classical Workshop Series

Part 1 – Lower Body Mechanics – Lower Legs and Feet. Delivered by Kirk James Smith

On the 29th of June, we are hosting Part One in a four-part series of enriching Classical workshops with Kirk James Smith, ‘Pilates From Head to Toe’. Designed specifically for educators, Pilates teachers and intermediate clients of the studio advancing their technique and knowledge of the Classical Pilates Method.

  • Date: 29th June 2024 Time: 9:00am – 5:30pm (1.5 hour break included)

Educators, teachers and intermediate clients of the studio advancing their technique and knowledge of the Classical Pilates method. We kindly request attendees to meet the following criteria:

  • Individuals with no injuries and in good physical health
  • Familiar with the Classical repertoire of the Mat and Reformer exercises
  • Open to exploring an advanced understanding of the lower body mechanics – exploring the impact of proper placement and function of the knees to the toes on the body. Learn valuable strategies to enhance the resilience of every foot you encounter.

Having studied under Romana Kryzanowska, Mary Bowen, and Jay Grimes Kirk has been instructing Classical Pilates since 1998.
